Review: The Graveyard of the Hesperides
The Graveyard of the Hesperides by Lindsey Davis
Loved it!
I simply loved this book!
Flavia Albia is getting married. She only has to solve an old murder first: something to do with old bones found in the courtyard of a bar which is being renovated by her fiancé.
Nothing much to it? Right?
Think again, nothing is ever as simple as it seems.
And I really like how Lindsay Davis lets everyone have a voice, except for Flavia’s father Falco. Even though I would dearly love him to make his appearance, I respect the idea that his story has been told. Of course, all the other main characters mention him frequently, the man himself does not speak.
Now all that is left is to wait for the next title in this series!
