Maintenance

For the past two weeks, I’ve been working on keeping links and images up to date on my gitlab-run hugo site. I know I have different plans for my website(s), but for now, this will have to do. I have found that in the last years I have moved my data around so many times, that I no longer know what works and what doesn’t.

As you can read in a previous post, I’ve moved my previously WordPress/Ghost site onto a hugo-framework site, hosted currently via a (free) gitlab account. It’s not ideal, but I like the way the hugo-framework let’s me put my fingers into the code, without the need for a professional knowledge of its code.

Not just my blog

It’s not just my blog that I need to look at. I have plans! (insert evil cackle)

So, for now, let’s start the beginning and start with a plan de campagne for this blog, then work on the photos, then mastodon and then pixelfed (and I also want to look into the alternatives for goodreads and google docs).

  • start blogging again, more frequently

  • Look into adding “summary” sections to longer posts, see hepworth
