Time | Booking Through Thursday

If you had all the time in the world, what would you read?

Gosh, of all the lofty and fancy ideas. If I had the time, would I commit to a classic? Would I try to read all books within a book series? Or would I try to read one of those supposed unreadable books, like Gödel, Escher, Bach.

If I had all the time in the world, I think I would not change my reading habits. Reading is for pleasure, reading is for broadening your mind. If I feel like I should read something, I will find the time regardless.

  1. I really like (and agree with) your last sentence: “If I feel like I should read something, I will find the time regardless.” You are so right about that! I’ll find the time — or make the time — for something I really want to read. Thanks.

  2. I’d definitely read series that I’ve been putting off for awhile. If you’d like to see those I’d choose you can read my reply Here

  3. I agree, my habits wouldn’t change…I would just be able to get through all the things I already have on my list! The day I graduated from college I decided I would never read a book because I *had* to, ever again. It’s be a lot of years and I’ve stuck to that!

    1. I hear what you’re saying! After highschool I found I read too much on command, of course followed up with studying English Lit&Lang, so never got away from command-reading. Now I read what I want and when I want it!
