Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I couldn’t help it, I just had to read this last book on Harry P.
While the script layout took a few pages to get used to, the story pulled me in quickly enough not to be bothered by it.
When reading the original seven books, I always felt a sense of gleeful anticipation and I never quite felt that way reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
It was an enjoyable read, I loved seeing the original characters as adults, all behaving in a slightly more grown-up way, the storyline is at times magical, but also in a way I felt as if it was almost like reading a good fanfic.
I can recommend reading this book to anyone who’s read all the previous books, but do not have too high expectations, because I’m afraid they will not be met.
