Recently I started re-reading the Marcus Didius Falco series written by Lindsey Davis. I've worked my way back up to the novel Time to Depart[1. Book number 7 in a series of 20.], and I am enjoying the books as much I ever have! This week, as I am reading the book, I decided to check to see if perhaps a new Davis' novel has come out.
Totally in luck, yes!
A new book in her new series! Deadly Election: A Flavia Albia Mystery, recently published so I bookmarked Time to Depart, and I started reading this latest in the Flavia Albia series. Fortunately, it was the weekend, so I had two wonderful days to read continously. An lo and behold, Kindle kindly let me know at the end of the book that a so-called Kindle short by Lindsey Davis was also available: The Spook Who Spoke Again. A sweet short story written from the perspective of Marcus Didius Alexander Postumus.
Now, it's back to my original Falco novel, but I know I will not be disappointed!
