Each year on April 301 (Queen’s Day), the Japanese Garden in Park Clingendael opens its gates for the next six weeks. I remember visiting the garden together with my parents back when I was younger; as I’ve become more and more interested in photography, I visit the garden almost annually (since moving to the Hague where the garden is situated, I have visited each year).
As I did last year, I decided to visit this small, beautiful and serene garden on its opening day.
